What are your career plans? Attorney. I’m interested in getting into corporate litigation as of now.
 
What is your favorite book or author and why? F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby. It is perhaps the greatest American novel ever written. It encompasses so many fascinating themes. Fitzgerald was able to embody all of the characteristics of the great American novel, while making a unique statement about the “roaring twenties.” In the very first pages, Fitzgerald draws the reader in with a fascinating story of love, money and intrigue.

What is your most frequent grammatical error? Switching tenses unknowingly.
 
What is your biggest grammatical pet peeve? Run-ons

What is your favorite word? Ubiquitous.

What is your favorite procrastination method when you have a paper to write? Organizing. I can never start a paper without having a very organized desk….
 
Describe (in a short paragraph) a significant breakthrough in your development as a writer.
 
On an English paper first semester of freshman year, I finally realized that the best thesis statements always seem to come out of the conclusion. Ever since, I have learned that the introduction paragraph is always best to write last.
