Amy Robertson
Dean's Writing Center Fellow
Amy Robertson holds a B.A. in English from Rice University (1999) and
an M.T.S from Harvard Divinity School (2003), and is currently writing
a dissertation in Hebrew Bible for the Graduate Division of Religion.
Despite this love affair with the humanities, Amy’s mind is far more mathematical/logical than verbal, and she is often scolded by her
dissertation advisor for trying to sneak equations into the body of her
dissertation. Over time, a love for conversational and reflective
thought has led her to a fascination with writing, the writing process
(which, for her, generally involves a lot of colored pencils, flow
charts, and occasionally, pictures), and the many things communicated
by written words that cannot be summarized in a formula.
Outside of school, Amy’s primary pastime is creating silly songs to
sing her sweet baby boy, Levi.
